For my very first artist feature I'd like to introduce you to Bad Flamingo, an alternative country western duo. Their crisp sound mixes delicate vocals with instrumentation that takes you to the old west.
Their western theme is bold and prominent not only in their image, but also in their music as almost every one of their tunes can seamlessly fit in the soundtrack of any western based movie or TV show. Bluesy melodies and catchy acoustic strings are signature characteristics of their sound. Together with their captivating vocals, every track is a cinematic and enthralling ride.
Preferring to maintain a sense of suspense, they deliberately don’t reveal much about their background. In their own words:
The one on the left: vocals, banjo, autoharp, tambourine
The one on the right: vocals, guitar, bass, banjo
The track that first got my attention and one they wish to share is Fire, which is also featured in our discovery list this week.
In true MP fashion, below are pretty random questions thrown at them and well, let’s see what they have to say!

One of us cannot be bucked off of a mechanical bull. The other will not get on one.
What is something that you just recently realized that you are embarrassed you didn’t realize earlier?
