Introducing Nēoni, a duo from Colorado that delivers powerful vocals on top of dark and moody atmospheric tunes.
Comprised of sisters Caitlin and Sidney Powell, the pair wrote and performed together for 7 years before relocating to Nashville Tennessee in the summer of 2018. Their style can be classified as alternative pop with dark vibes, drawing inspiration from artists and bands like Twenty One Pilots, Imagine Dragons, Switchfoot, K.Flay, Bishop Briggs and Jon Bellion.
Now, in a city where music has a much greater presence, the duo frequently collaborates with other talented writers and producers to create their distinct sound.

What is in your fridge right now?
Strangely high amount of sauces… The food to sauce ratio is really off.
If you could be a member of any TV-Sitcom family, which would it be?
We would definitely be members of the Rose Family from Schitt's Creek. The incredibly high levels of sass and salt they share as a family just really resonates with us.
In the apocalypse, would you rather tough it alone or try to find a community to live in?
I think we would have to go with find a small community. Nothing too big because according to every apocalyptic TV show and movie out there the big (everything is fine and everything seems almost normal communities) always end up being bad news… Like literally every time. They’re almost like basements in horror movies… Like come on everyone, please don’t go in there… Don’t split up… boom everyone dies.
On the other hand toughing it out alone is bad news too. Like when there’s a giant zombie horde, you and a couple buddies with some swords and stuff, you have like a chance! But being out there on your own… It’s like going into that dark, creepy basement again…
Soooo long story short, we would have to go with small community with enough minor flaws so it doesn’t seem to good to be true… Problem solved.
If you could only eat one food item for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Pop Tarts!
You could still have some variety in what you eat because there’s so many flavors. Feeling sad? Chocolate fudge. Feeling daring? Hot fudge Sundae. Feeling like you want to sit by a camp fire and sing songs? S’mores all the freakin’ way.

Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (It always makes us cry at the end… He finally makes it home… Keep your judgement this is a judgment free zone…Also best soundtrack ever!)
Zombieland (Zombies, comedy, road trips, it’s got everything. It’s the Turducken of movies)
What is the best piece of advice you’ve received?
Only take criticism from the people closest to you, the people who definitely want to see you succeed. Everyone has an opinion, some may want to help you, but a lot of people just want to hurt you and make you doubt yourself. So when someone on your team says something, hear them out, but you can’t please everyone so don’t let other people's negativity make you question yourself.
