Coming from a small town in Michigan, EMM was classically trained at a young age, capable of playing multiple instruments. Her dreams and ambitions brought her to several places across US including New York and LA, where she is currently based. She is not at all shy to embody the spirit of female empowerment, running a blog that encourages support and motivation.
EMM's style can be described as alternative pop with a mixture of influences from Beyonce and Matt Bellamy (Muse). Her track FREEDOM emits a powerful message with an incredibly cinematic music video.
